Police searching for 2nd Kohl's shoplifter; had toddler in tow

BOARDMAN

Police have identified one suspect and are looking for a second accused of shoplifting items valued at more than $1,200 from a township store and then hitting a store employee with their vehicle.

Employees at Kohl’s in the Shops at Boardman Park told police that two women, one of whom had a toddler with her, filled large bags with clothes Monday afternoon while in the dressing room and left without paying, according to reports.

The women fled to a waiting vehicle and drove away with a door still open, which hit a store employee, records state.

Police said they could see the vehicle speeding out of the parking lot on security footage and making a left turn through a red light onto U.S. Route 224.
