Happy 80th Birthday to Robert Davies

YOUNGSTOWN

Robert L. Davies was born Sept. 18, 1932, in North Canton.

His parents were William and Dorothy Davies.

He has a sister, Barbara Harmon of Springfield, Ohio; two sons, Robert Davies of Shalersville, Ohio, and Gerald Davies of Akron; and two daughters, Deborah Granberg of Zanesville, Ohio; and Karen Jensen of Milwaukee, Wis. He has several grandchildren.

He was a 1950 graduate of East High School, retired from B.F. Goodrich and worked in Stark County in public employment.

He was a member of Calla Community Church, Canfield, was a longstanding Mason, and he was a board member of the local PERI chapter.

Mr. Davies was a Korean War Army veteran, he is an avid bowler and fisherman.

He celebrated his 80th birthday with family and friends at a surprise party Saturday.
