Beaver burglary
NORTH LIMA
Charges have been filed against two men accused of burglarizing an unoccupied Beaver Township house.
Timothy W. Hippely, 45, of Salem, is facing charges of burglary, drug possession, possession of drug abuse instruments and operating a vehicle under the influence. Hippely’s nephew, Richard E. Dennison, Jr., 33, is charged with burglary and possession of criminal tools.
Police said a burglary occurred at 11771 Cook Road at about 1 a.m. Monday. Hippely dropped Dennison off at the house and was returning when he was stopped by police. The OVI charge is Hippely’s third.
Shortly after the arrest, an officer saw Dennison walking away from the house. Police allege that Dennison was stripping the house of copper pipes and wiring. Officers said stolen property was recovered near the arrest location.
