Children's Circle of Friends donates to United Way

YOUNGSTOWN

The D&E Center Children’s Circle of Friends Foundation recently presented the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley with a donation of $5,000 toward its 2012 campaign.

The proceeds donated to United Way were raised during the Circle of Friends Foundation’s charity golf outing at The Lake Club July 9.

“The United Way works very hard to expand the opportunity for children with emotional and behavioral problems to get the help they need in our Valley. It’s great to help them in that effort. It is the Circle of Friends Foundation’s mission to improve the quality of life of these children — our society’s ‘invisible children,’” said Greg Cvetkovic, the foundation’s president.
