Ballyhoo music festival includes dozens of bands

AUSTINTOWN

The second annual Ballyhoo music festival will be Friday and Saturday with more than 30 bands on two stages, including headliner the Midlife Chryslers, featuring Michael Stanley.

The event will be at Harley-Davidson Biketown, next to Quaker Steak and Lube, off state Route 46 at the Interstate 80 interchange. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.

Ballyhoo raises money for cancer awareness charities, cancer victims and Angels for Animals.

The Star Boyz motorcycle stunt team will give two shows. Rock drummer Joe Vitale, who has performed and recorded with Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Eagles and Joe Walsh, will sign autographs and copies of his book Friday.
