Meshel, Weimer reappointed to YSU board

COLUMBUS

Gov. John Kasich has reappointed Carole Weimer and Harry Meshel to the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees after it was discovered that their appointments hadn’t been confirmed by the state senate.

Last week, a University of Akron trustee resigned when it was discovered that her appointment hadn’t been confirmed, according to an Akron Beacon Journal article.

Weimer’s term expires in 2017 and Meshel’s in 2016. Both were appointed by former Gov. Ted Strickland.
