Library will offer birding information

WARREN

Birding expert Greg Miller will discuss bird-watching at 6 p.m. Sept. 20 at Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW.

He and two other birders are featured in “The Big Year: A Tale of Man, Nature, and Fowl Obsession” by Pulitzer Prize winning author Mark Obmascik. It was made into the 2011 feature film “The Big Year.”

Miller is the inspiration for the character portrayed by actor Jack Black in the movie and also served as the bird expert for the film.
