SENIOR CITIZENS


1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the great hall at St. Nicholas Church, 764 Fifth St., Struthers. John Texter will preside. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played.

Canfield AARP 3104 will meet Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. Blood pressure screenings will be available from noon to 12:45 p.m. Mill Creek MetroParks Police Chief James Willock Jr. will speak on identity theft and scams. Reservations are being taken for a bus trip Oct. 4 to 8 to New York City and Vermont by calling 330-337-7133. Information will be available at the meeting for future bus trips.

Golden Pillars will meet for a liturgy at 11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the monthly meeting at noon at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave. Mary Novak will preside, birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and cards and bingo will be played. Members are asked to take their own table service.

J.C. Penney Retirees will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

Local 1199 will have a general meeting at 10 a.m. Monday at the Union Hall on Belmont Ave. New members are invited to join. There will be a basket auction.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church.
