Mother, two young children found dead in Sandusky home

SANDUSKY

Police in the northern Ohio town of Sandusky say it doesn’t look as if any weapons were used in the killings of a 23-year-old woman and two young children.

Officers found the bodies of all three Saturday night in their home after a family friend told police they had not been heard from all day.

Sandusky police say the think the two young victims are the woman’s 3-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son

Police are telling the Sandusky Register that they found the woman’s body between a mattress and a bedframe and then discovered the bodies of the children in a closet.

Neighbors say the woman had only lived in the house for a short time.
