Young adult fiction blazes adventure trail
RALEIGH, N.C.
Christopher Wager, formerly of Salem, has released “Stow Away,” a new action-adventure novel for young adults.
The book is about a 13-year-old streetwise kid, Benjamin Holt, in 1930s lower Manhattan. Adventure begins when a case of mistaken identity forces him to take refuge in the belly of a tramp steamer bound for Africa.
“Stow Away” is available on barnesandnoble.com, amazon.com and other booksellers.
Wager has worked as a freelance journalist and online content writer, and he has written two other nonfiction titles.
He wants to encourage young people to believe in themselves and to illustrate that they have the power to overcome adversities that may seem impossible.
