St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park was the setting June 30 as Amy Suszczynski of Canfield and C.J. Close of North Lima exchanged wedding vows in the presence of Judge Scott Hunter.

The couple accepted congratulations at a reception at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana before leaving on a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Florida.

They are making their home in Canfield.

The bride is the daughter of Deena Suszczynski of Greenford and Peter Suszczynski of Beaver Township. The groom is the son of Clarke and Susanne Close of North Lima.

The bride’s diamond-white satin gown was designed with a fitted bodice and asymmetrical pickup skirt and embellished with ruching, rhinestones and pearls.

Wearing black gowns with fuchsia sashes were Jeannine Donatelli, maid of honor, and bridesmaids Gina Roth and Mae Van Iderstine, cousin of the bride.

Serving as best man for his brother was Nathan Close. Groomsmen were John Brown and Rocky Angiuli, and ushers were Morris Buskirk and Brandon Billy, cousins of the groom.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in education at the University of Mount Union and is employed by South Range Schools in Canfield. The groom is employed at Gamma Med Inc., North Jackson.
