Torrian Pace scored two touchdowns in the second quarter as Youngstown State extended its lead over visiting Valparaiso to 49-0 at halftime of Saturday's game at Stambaugh.

Pace has carried 14 times for 146 yards and Kurt Hess has thrown for 138 yards and two TDs.

YSU hasn't quite matched the pace of last year's win over Valpo -- the Penguins led 63-6 at halftime last season.
