'Women Changing the Way We Eat' Thursday in Warren

A fundraiser and free lecture by author Temra Costa will be Thursday at the Raymond John Wean Foundation, 147 W. Market St.

Costa is author of “Farmer Jane: Women Changing the Way We Eat” and speaks about sustainable food and farming at numerous conferences, events and universities throughout the year.

The program is for the benefit of Warren Community Gardens, a program of Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership.

The fundraiser starts at 6 p.m. and features locally grown and prepared foods; the lecture begins at 7 p.m.
