CANFIELD
Canfield United Methodist Church was the setting of the 2:30 p.m. June 30 wedding of Amanda Fryda and Joe Cleghorn, both of Boardman.
The Rev. George Lee officiated.
A reception followed at The Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown.
Marlene and Patrick Sfara of Boardman are the parents of the bride, and the parents of the groom are Janet Stephens and Russell Cleghorn, both of Canfield.
The bride wore a strapless A-line gown with a lace overlay, 3-D flower appliqu s and a mocha sash.
Andrea Arnio was matron of honor, and Ashley Fryda was maid of honor. Both are sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Ginty, cousin of the bride; Carrie Zorman; and Jena Shapona and Stephanie Manginelli, both sisters of the groom. The attendants wore mocha gowns.
Eric Watson, cousin of the groom, performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Mike Venrose, Scott Thompson, Dwayne Pavkovich, and Brian Shapona and Gabe Manginelli, both brothers-in-law of the groom.
The bride earned an intervention specialist K-12 degree from Youngstown State University and is a special education teacher at Austintown schools.
The groom earned a secondary education degree in English from Hiram College and is an English teacher at Boardman schools.
After a wedding trip to Siesta Key, Fla., the couple are residing in Boardman.
