In order to be ready to kick off the 2012-13 school year, Hilltop Elementary School held its annual Open House Meet and Greet Aug. 28, during which all students and their parents were invited to visit the school. Students were given the opportunity to check out their new classrooms and meet their new teachers.
Students were also able to bring in all their school supplies to put in their desks so they will be ready to hit the ground running on the first day of school.
Students and their parents could also familiarize themselves with the library, cafeteria, gym, computer lab and music room.
Representatives from the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts were available to speak to students with an interest in joining their organizations and to answer any questions they may have had.
Members of the Hilltop PTO were also on hand to welcome the students and their families to the school and offered a variety of Canfield Cardinals items for sale.
