ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday in the lower level of Park Vista North Towers, 1310 Fifth Ave. After breakfast Barbara Krauss from YSU-FM will present a travel log of her recent trips. Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Upstairs Restaurant in Austintown. The evening will begin with dinner followed by a presentation by chapter member Joseph Gibson II, who will present “A Military Career.” Cost of the dinner is $17.75. AUXILIARIES

St. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday in the private dining room at the hospital, on Belmont Avenue. The speaker will be Lynn Zocolo of Fellows Riverside Gardens.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1963 is planning to meet for lunch at noon Wednesday at Bogey’s Bar and Grille, 3535 Upland Ave., Lowellville. The restaurant number is 330-750-6062, for anyone who needs directions.

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant on Route 224 in Boardman. All classmates and spouses are invited.

Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s Restaurant in Boardman. Members of the 1946 and 1948 classes also are welcome.

CLUBS

Mahoning Valley Cribbage Club will meet at noon Sept. 14 at St. James Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. New players are welcome. For more information call 330-530-1254.

Mahoning Valley Stamp Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The club meets the second Thursday of each month.

GUILDS

McDonald Literary Guild will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at Woodland Park United Methodist Church.

Western Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. Nancy Walpole will give instructions on a knitted bracelet. Members should take No. 4 double-pointed needles, either wooden or metal, and their Canfield Fair entries.

Youngstown Area Weavers Guild will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Buckeye Horse Park picnic grounds on Route 224 west of Canfield. There will be a short business meeting and discussion of the coming year’s programs, special member summer experiences and a starbuster swap meet. Those attending should take their place settings and a covered dish; chicken and beverage will be provided. LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of Boardman Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the community room. Refreshments will be served, and a program at 10 will be “Observations in Art and Life” by Dr. Lou Zona, director of the Butler Institute of American Art. Hostesses will be Mary Ann Elias, Charlotte Vitt and Patricia Beede. Guests and new members are welcome. No reservations necessary. The public is encouraged to donate books, magazines, CDs and DVDs, which help support the reading programs. Donated items are collected by members from 10 a.m. to noon on the first and third Saturday each month.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

Junior Seton Circle, Seton III and Seton IV will meet at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, for a combined Mass. Lunch will follow in St. Matthew Hall. Hostesses this year will be Seton IV members with Sherri McCormick, president; Margie Stanwood, vice president; and Sue Eich, secretary-treasurer.

McDonald Knights of Columbus will meet at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the K. of C. Hall, Illinois Avenue.

St. Anthony’s Auxiliary of Struthers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Stonebridge Restaurant, Boardman-Canfield Road. Telephone committee will call for reservations. Arlene Dechellis will review the club’s calendar for the remainder of the year.

St. Michael Altar Guild will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the parish center. Deacon Tom Soich will give the benediction in the church. Evelyn Dwyer will preside, and a salad smorgasbord will follow at 6:30. Members are asked to take a salad. The board will provide dessert. Christina Dascenzo, a pharmacist from Pharmacy Care, will be the speaker. Hostesses are Elaine Boomhower and Dorothy Bellish. Guests are invited to attend.

St. Monica Guild of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Patti Rossi will preside. Hostesses are Sandra Chasko, Debbie Chufo, Linda Ciotti, Diane Colosante and Patricia Dawson.

D.A.R.E. Singles Group, a social group for divorced, widowed and separated people, meets at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. SOCIETIES

Salem Historical Society will have a brief business meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the new Dale Shaffer Library meeting room prior to the centennial recognition of the sinking of the USS Titanic by Paul Rohrbaugh of New Middletown, from the perspective of Captain E.J. Smith. A question and answer session will follow. Use the entrance off South Lundy Avenue with parking in the Timberlane’s parking lot. Greeter will be David Stratton. Nar-Anon, a worldwide fellowship for those affected by someone else’s addiction, meets at 7 p.m. every Wednesday at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 5211 Mahoning Ave., Suite 3000, Austintown. The 12-step program offers help by sharing experience, strength and hope. Newcomers are welcome at 6:45.

Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Humility of Mary Home Care office, 979 Tibbetts-Wick Road, Girard.
