Canfield Local Schools students didn’t let a little rain put a damper on their excitement for the first day of school on Tuesday. The students’ spirits were running high as they arrived at their respective schools.
Cathy Mowry, principal of Hilltop Elementary School, held an umbrella as she oversaw the bus arrivals and welcomed all Hilltoppers back to school.
“Good morning, good morning. Welcome back,” Mowry said to the students flowing into the school.
Travis Lavery, principal of C.H. Campbell Elementary School, coordinated the busses as they arrived at the school and welcomed his students to the new school year.
