Youngstown police investigating East Side robbery
YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for the teenage boy who went to a Shehy Street home and robbed the occupants at gunpoint.
According to police reports, the 21-year-old Shehy man was home at 7 p.m. Monday when a 17-year-old male he knows only by first name came into his East Side house brandishing a firearm and demanding valuables.
The resident handed over a cellphone, video game system and $50 before the teen ran out of the house.
The crime was not reported until Wednesday afternoon, however. The gun used in the crime is said to have been stolen from another person who did not report the weapon stolen, police added.
