Lordstown 4, Bristol 2

LORDSTOWN

Jacob Jones scored three goals for a hat trick to lead Lordstown (2-1-1) in the rain-shortened contest. Dustin Hajnosz also scored. Assists were credited to Jireyes Rafei and Zach Kazner. Chad Oliver scored both of Bristol’s goals. Chris Whitfield had five saves for Lordstown.

Crestview 7, Columbiana 1

COLUMBIANA

Greg Bable had three goals for a hat trick to lead Crestview (3-2-1). Caleb McGath scored two goals with Clay Linhart and Tony Marr adding one each. Linhart and Josh Schlueter each had two assists, McGath and Derek Bable each had one. The Rebels had 29 shots on goal. Columbiana’s lone goal was scored by Matt Baylor, assisted by Colin Offenberg.

Akron Hoban 3, Boardman 1

BOARDMAN

Luke Marsco scored an unassisted goal for Boardman (1-2-1). Spartans goalie Anthony Calutti had 13 saves.

GIRLS

Badger 9, Edgewood 0

KINSMAN

Badger jumped off to a 6-0 halftime lead and went on to defeat Astabula Edgewood. Six different players scored for Badger. Holly Masters led the Braves with a double hat trick with three goals and three assists. Olivia Vanscoy scored twice and Jennilyn Krumpe, Angelique Armstrong, Cheyanne Dickson and Samantha Greathouse each scored one goal. Krumpe also had two assists while Armstrong, Samantha Pemberton, April Larrison, and Harlee Logan each had an assist. Badger keeper Izabella Armstrong had four saves for the Braves. Badger is now 3-0-1.
