The Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University will conduct a master of business administration information session at 5:45 p.m. Monday in Room 3418 on the third floor of Williamson Hall.
The flexible MBA enables students to pursue their degrees either part time or full time. Classes are offered one night a week. Some MBA courses are offered in eight-week blocks. Students may start any term – fall, spring or summer.
The MBA program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, which represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.

Probe continues into cause of fire
WARREN
The fire department is still investigating the cause of a Sunday morning fire at an abandoned house.
Firefighters received a call at 10:55 a.m. of a fire at 138 Hall St. NW. Crews were on the scene for about two hours before the blaze was contained.
According to the fire report, no one was injured. The utilities were turned off inside the building at the time, but the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
Wind Ensemble releases new CD
WARREN
The Youngstown State University Wind Ensemble, which recently released its latest CD recording, opens its fall 2012 performance season with a free outdoor concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Warren Amphitheatre in downtown Warren.
2012 NAXOS International, considered the world’s largest classical music online music distributor, released the latest recording of the ensemble last week.
The CD, titled “Old Wine In New Bottles,” is part of NAXOS’ Wind Band Classic Series.
Computer classes to be offered
Youngstown
The Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, is offering two computer classes on Wednesdays from Oct. 3 through Oct. 24.
“Your Personal Computer 101,” from 4 to 5:30 p.m., is an introduction to computer’s class for beginners, and will teach participants how to email, browse the Internet and use word-processing applications.
“Intermediate Computer 102,” from 5:30 to 7 p.m., will teach participants how to use the features in the Microsoft Office Suite, open and use a free email account and send pictures and attachments. Classes are $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers. To register, call 330-746-3251 ext. 195.
