Fraternity funds will aid St. Jude

YOUNGSTOWN

Alpha Phi Delta alumni recently hosted a dinner at Boulevard Tavern in memory of deceased brothers. They raised $5,200, which will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

St. Jude’s is having a nationwide walk in November in 90 cities, including Youngstown. Participants will walk a certain number of miles and ask donors to match the amount with dollars. The alumni will sponsor undergraduate brothers to walk in memory of deceased Alpha Phi Delta brothers by using the money raised at the dinner to match the miles walked by the younger brothers.
