Dr. David Porter to lecture at JCC

YOUNGSTOWN

Dr. David Porter, a professor of foreign affairs at Youngstown State University’s department of political science, will lecture about the upcoming presidential election from noon to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in the multipurpose room at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane.

He teaches a variety of topics, including American public opinion, democratization and democratic theory. During the 1990s he and Dr. William Binning conducted election polls for The Vindicator, covering primaries and general elections for a decade.

The cost is $8 for members and $10 for nonmembers, and lunch and the lecture are included.
