Humane society to sponsor rescue raffle

COLUMBIANA

Tickets are on sale for the Humane Society of Columbiana County 2012 Retro R.O.C.C. (Reduce Overpopulation of Cats and Canines) and Rescue Reverse Raffle set for Nov. 3 at Salem Golf Club, 1967 S. Lincoln Ave.

Tickets are $50 and include a chance at the grand prize of $1,200, sponsored by Sanor Insurance of Salem, and dinner for two.

Only 150 tickets will be sold.

Tables for groups of 8 are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The reverse raffle will include a basket and silent auction, prize wheel, bingo and “Let’s Make a Deal.”

Dancing to the oldies will follow the raffle.

Retro attire is welcome.

Tickets purchased before Oct. 1 will receive a chance to win a $50 lottery tree.

Donations and sponsorships for the basket auction are being accepted.
