Soleil Cafe opens near YSU campus

A new dining option has opened on Lincoln Avenue near Youngstown State University.
Soleil Cafe will specialize in a variety of breakfast and lunch items, offering crepes, melts, soups, salads and bakery goods as well as vegetarian options. Menu offerings range between $3 and $6.
Located at 131 Lincoln Ave., Soleil Cafe is next to Jimmy John’s and is just a short walk for students, employees and downtown regulars.
The restaurant will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Rust Belt Brewery, group do custom beer
Youngstown
Rust Belt Brewery in Youngstown is working with Polish Youngstown to develop the brewery’s first custom beer.
With its brewery at the historic B&O train station on Mahoning Avenue, Rust Belt Brewing Co. made its debut in 2008.
In order to meet rising demand for its popular beers, such as Blast Furnace Blond Ale, Coke Oven Stout and Old Man Hopper’s IPA, the company expanded in July by signing a contract with the Pennsylvania Brewing Co.

Registrations taken for Utica conference
YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is still accepting registrations for its Youngstown Ohio Utica and Natural Gas Conference and Expo.
The conference includes three days of events. On Wednesday, there will be a casino-themed reception at the Holiday Inn in Boardman for sponsors, exhibitors and registered conference attendees.
On Thursday, the main day of the event, will include educational sessions and presentations at the Covelli Center.
The third day is back at the Holiday Inn and will include more in-depth information about technologies and development in the shale gas industry.
