55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. Hostesses are Vira Fry and Phyllis Matasic.

Ajax Magnethermic Retirees and their spouses will meet at 3 p.m. Friday at the Ajax-Tocco picnic grounds, Overland Avenue, Warren.

Cornersburg Happy Seniors will meet for lunch at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. The cost is $10. Call Linda Wiland at 330-318-8472 for reservations. Bingo will be the entertainment, and greeters will be Dorothy Wood and Carolyn Steiner.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will have a monthly meeting at noon Friday in Lowellville City Hall conference room. Ernie Ciarniello will preside, and lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfi. Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will meet Sept. 12 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St., Boardman. The social hour begins at 11 a.m. with lunch at 11:45. The program will include the introduction of new retirees by Paul Rossi and ORTA updates by Ann Hanning. Nonperishable canned goods, toiletries, paper products, school supplies, current magazines, paperbacks and children’s books will be collected.
