Room trashed at Boardman Red Roof Inn

Managers at the Red Roof Inn on Tiffany South in Boardman reported vandalism in a room, which included feces in ice buckets, drawers and the bathtub.

The damage occurred between Friday and Monday.

Police said the room occupants slashed two mattresses and burned them with cigarettes, shattered a 32-inch television and carved the names “Mel H” and “Chuck H” into headboards.

Hotel staff told police they believed crew members for an adult-video production studio stayed in the room.

The manager turned over hotel records with the names of those who reserved the room and who checked into it.

The final hotel bill, including the cost of the damage, was not paid, according to reports.
