Police investigate shooting death of 21-year-old man

Youngstown Police are investigating what appears to be the city’s 24th homicide of the year following the shooting death of a 21-year-old man on the city’s North Side.

Darnell Green, 21, was gunned down in the driveway of a home on Roslyn Avenue at about 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Green’s death, if ruled a homicide, will be the second murder in the city this week. Shawn Meadows, 26, was stabbed and killed Sunday during a domestic dispute in the Rockford Village Housing Development.
