Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. Cost is $7. No reservations are necessary. For takeouts or to order ahead, call the church at 330-743-3175.

THURSDAY

Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will have a drive-through-only chicken dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out. Cost is $7.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve all-you-can-eat fried fish, chicken or shrimp dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. Each meal is $8.50 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for those 3 and under. Meals with a fish sandwich are $5.50. For carryouts call 330-654-5630. Entertainment is planned from 7 to 11 p.m.

Bloomfield High School Junior Class is sponsoring a fish and shrimp dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria, 2077 Park Road West, North Bloomfield, Fish dinners are $5.75 and $6.50 and shrimp dinners are $6.75. Carryout orders will be available.

Canfield Lions Club will have a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield.

Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. Cost is $5 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. A limited supply of frozen pirogi will be available. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

First Federated Church, 10786 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson, will host a turkey dinner and country store from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 12 and free for those 4 and under; takeouts are available for $9 after 3:30. For information call the church at 330-538-3936.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders may be picked up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday or 9:30 to 11 Friday at 330-746-9528, and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.

Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, will have a fish fry. Meals are $15 each. Lunch will be served from 11 to 1:30 p.m.; carryout only is from noon to 7 p.m.

Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmount Drive, will have a fish fry fundraiser from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Adult tickets are $8 in advance or $8.75 at the door. St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6 for a baker’s dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., will sell Brier Hill pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling 330-746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi on Fridays. The cost is $5.50 a dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday; walk-in orders will be available.

Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren, will serve an all-you-can-eat fish dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meatloaf also will be available. Cost is $9 for adults, $3 for children 4 to 11 and free for those 3 and under. Carryouts will be available after 3:30.

SATURDAY

Berlin Ellsworth Ruritan will serve a family-style, all-you-can-eat Swiss steak supper from 4 to 7 p.m. at Western Reserve High School, 13850 W. Akron-Canfield Road, Berlin Center. The cost is $9.50 in advance and $10 at the door. Children 4 to 10 can eat for $5.; those 3 and under eat free. There will be a homemade baking contest prior to the dinner. Girard First United Methodist Church, 22 N. Market St., will host its annual creamed-chicken-on-biscuit carryout dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Cost is $8 per dinner. No need to pre-order. Drive to the back of the church to pick up your dinner.

Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will have a bazaar with booths open at 11 a.m. and turkey dinner from 1 to 5 p.m. Dinner tickets will be available at noon. Pricetown United Methodist Church will sponsor an all-you-can-eat turkey dinner buffet from 4 to 7 p.m. at Newton Falls High School, 907 Milton Blvd. Tickets for adults are $9; for children 5 to 12, $4; and 4 and under, free.

Richard Brown United Methodist Church, 1205 Elm St., will sponsor a Swiss steak dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger. Takeouts will be available.

Andrew Gromm, pastor, will present hourly lectures comparing the spirituality of China’s heritage with the Gospel. His wife, who is Chinese, will answer questions.

St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., will have a spaghetti dinner and concert in the church social hall. Dinners will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the concert will be at 2 p.m. featuring Howard Howell and the Point 5 Band. Dinners are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 8 and younger. The Cancer Relay Team will be selling 2013 entertainment books and will take orders for pies and candles to raise money for the 2013 Cancer Relay for Life.
