AUSTINTOWN

Amanda J. Fraser of Aberdeen, S.C., became the bride of John A. Bizorik III of Aberdeen during an afternoon ceremony at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on May 26. Monsignor Kenneth Miller and Deacon Peter Burns, an uncle of the bride, officiated in the exchange of vows by the daughter of Peter and Brenda Fraser of Austintown and the son of John A. Bizorik Sr. of Bellevue, Ohio, and David and Dianne Culbertson of Clyde, Ohio.

After the ceremony, a reception took place at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

The bride wore an ivory silk strapless gown with crystal and pearl embellishments on the bodice. It was completed with a floor length A-line skirt with ruching and a french bustle with a chapel train.

Emily R. Fraser, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Jackie Fraser, sister-in-law of the bride, and Tricia Niswander. Attendants wore royal blue gowns. Flower girls were Sophia and Maerinn Fraser, nieces of the bride.

Mac Erwin performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Edmund Bizorik and Adam Culbertson, brothers of the groom. Jacob Lewis, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Ushers were Zephan Heimbaugh, nephew of the groom; Kryee Heimbaugh, niece of the groom; and Carrie Isherwood.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in biology and environmental science from Lehigh University and a master’s degree as a physician assistant from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is a physician assistant for the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, N.C.

The groom is a member of the special warfare training group of the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg and has served with the Army for 19 years.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia in the Virgin Islands, the couple reside in Aberdeen.
