Carrie Underwood returns to Covelli Centre in April

YOUNGSTOWN — Carrie Underwood will return to Covelli Centre for an April 11 concert. She will be joined by opening act Hunter Hayes.

Tickets go on sale Nov. 16 through Ticketmaster outlets and the arena box office.

Underwood’s newest album, “Blown Away,” debuted in the No. 1 Bilboard spot earlier this year.

She is also up for two awards in the American Music Awards, which will be Nov. 18: favorite female country artist, and favorite country album.

The country music superstar last appeared at the downtown arena in a sold-out show in 2008.
