Two candidates are running in the 13th Congressional District race and four in the 14th District. Both seats have two-year terms. Democrat Dale V. 13TH DISTRICT

TIM RYAN * (D)

Age: 39.

Employment: U.S. House member.

Education: A law degree in 2000 from the University of New Hampshire Law School, a bachelor’s degree in political science from Bowling Green University.

Family: Single.

Priority: Creating the economic landscape to foster and grow the middle class, educate our workers and kids to be ready for the rapidly changing global economy and support entrepreneurs.

MARISHA AGANA (R)

Age: 52.

Employment: Pediatrician.

14TH DISTRICT

DAVID P. JOYCE (R)

Education: A bachelor of arts degree in history in 1964 from the Adelbert College of Case Western Reserve University, a 1960 graduate of John Adams High School in Cleveland.

Priority: Abolish several federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Food and Drug Administration; sell all foreign military bases; repeal all free-trade agreements; and conduct an audit of the Federal Reserve System.
