Four departments battle fire at Trumbull County house

Four Trumbull County fire departments fought a house fire at 1758 Wilson Ave. Saturday evening. The blaze, which erupted in the living room of the one- story home at 6:45 p.m., was brought under control in 20 minutes, a county 911 supervisor said.

Liberty firefighters were assisted by firefighters from Vienna, Brookfield and the Youngstown Air Reserve Station.

There were no injuries, and no cause or damage estimate was available Saturday evening.

The American Red Cross provided temporary housing assistance to two adults who had been in the house when the blaze erupted.
