Church accepting food orders

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is accepting orders for Smart Choice food from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday; 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to noon Nov. 5.

Boxes include meat, vegetables, convenience meals, a kid’s meal box, a special Thanksgiving basic box and a holiday fruit and vegetable box. Prices range from $23 to $36. There are no income restrictions or guidelines.

Pre-order and pre-pay with cash, money order or Ohio Direction Cards. Mail orders will be accepted until Nov. 6. Mail orders will be accepted with payment of postal or bank money orders or a certified check made out to New Hope United Methodist Church.

To receive a receipt, enclose a self-addressed and stamped envelope. Online orders at www.smartchoicefood.com will close at 6 p.m. Nov. 8.

A 3-percent handling fee will be added to all online orders. Distribution takes place 9 to 10 a.m. Nov. 17. During the distribution, a community breakfast will be served from 9 to 10:30 a.m. For information, call 330-652-3625.
