Struthers Rotary will host its 57th Annual Pancake Festival from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 4 at Struthers High School, 111 Euclid Ave. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children under 12 for pancakes, sausage and eggs; takeout orders will be available. Proceeds will be used for the club’s scholarship program. Boy Scout Troop 101 and members of Struthers High School Interact Club will assist with the festival, and representatives of Struthers Historical Society and YSU Rotaract Club will be collecting donations to purchase winter coats and gloves for needy children in the area. Flu shots will be available, and there also will be free blood pressure screenings and brown bag reviews, for which those attending can take their medications in a brown bag and speak with a pharmacist about potential drug interactions or side affects. Call 330-755-0666 for information. Above, Rotary members and Interact students recently got some practice in the kitchen.
