Salem library offers free paper shredding


SALEM

Salem Public library, 821 E. State St., will provide a confidential and secure disposal of bank statements, old taxes, receipts, canceled checks etc. at no cost.

Salem area residents can take up to five trash bags or average-size boxes of paperwork to the library’s parking lot Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to be shredded.

Protect-N-Shred Inc. of Cortland will provide the service on the premises. Do not take plastic, cardboard or newspapers. Registration is not required. For information call the library at 330-332-0042.
