AUCTIONS

Family Life Center, 252 N. Broad St., Canfield, is sponsoring a fall auction to benefit the 10th annual St. Michael Scholarship Fund at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 3. The cost is $10 per person at the door and includes food, bar and bidding number. Participants must be 21 and older. Halloween costumes are encouraged. Poland Women’s Club will sponsor a basket auction at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at Holy Family Parish Center, 2729 Center Road. Cost is $20 and includes appetizers, dessert, beverages and 20 raffle tickets. Tickets will be available at the door.

CARD, BINGO PARTIES

Liberty Presbyterian Church, 1451 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, at Route 304 and Logan, will have basket bingo on Sunday at 1 p.m. Four Disney on Ice tickets will be raffled, one for $5, or 6 for $20. Food will be available.

St. Charles Church Ladies Guild will host a bingo and card party from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the church social hall, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman. Cost is $5 and includes lunch, door prizes, raffles and a 50-50 drawing.

CRAFT SHOWS

Christ Our Savior Parish will have a craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas School Hall, 762 Fifth St., Struthers. For information call the parish office at 330-755-9819.

Old Hickory Craft Show, sponsored by the Hickory Band Boosters, is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Hickory High School, 640 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, Pa. Admission is $2.

SALES

Canfield Band Parents are sponsoring a fresh fruit sale through Nov. 6. Band students in fifth through 12th grades are selling Florida oranges and grapefruits, Washington State apples, Anjou pears and cheesecake. Lockwood United Methodist Church, 4570 Lockwood Boulevard, Youngstown, will sponsor a rummage sale from 9 to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road, Poland, will host a free Trunk or Treat for all ages from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot. St. Robert Youth Ministry’s Haunted Hayride will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at St. Robert Church, state Route 46, Cortland. Cost is $3. Refreshments will be available. There will be a “Scaredy Cats” corner for those who are too young or too afraid to venture into the woods.

Vista Center of Boardman, 830 Boardman-Canfield Road, will have a fall fun open house from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday. It will include a country band, Grotto Clowns, face painting, children’s crafts and fall coloring corner, petting zoo, a sketch artist, a disc jockey, cider and doughnuts, and photographs.
