NFP and DEA sponsor Red Ribbon Week

The 27th Red Ribbon Week will be Oct. 23 through 31 to raise awareness of the destruction caused by drugs.

This year families can enter to win a $1,000 grant for their school or an iPad for their home.

Students with their parents should decorate their front door, mailbox, fence, etc., with this year’s theme, “The Best Me is Drug Free.”

Take a photo of the decoration and upload to www. redribbon.org/contest or www.facebook.com/redribbonweek by Nov. 2.

Entrants must be 18 to upload photos.

Ask friends and family to vote for your entry at www.redribbon.org/vote between Nov. 2 and 16.

Ten winners from across the United States will be announced.

The Drug Enforcement Administration is co-sponsoring this year’s national contest with National Family Partnership.
