Sixteen people were inducted last week into the John F. Kennedy Catholic School “The Varsity Club” Athletic Hall of Fame.

Induction recognizes the athletic achievements of alumni and special friends from both St. Mary’s and John F. Kennedy Catholic Schools.

John Gillen, Athletic Director says of the Varsity Club, “Any time we can honor the people who have served our school so well, it is a good thing. From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate our inductees. I have coached, taught or worked with the entire class, and am proud to be a part of the evening.”

The 2012 inductees are Larry Ciferno, 1949; Richard Dankovic, 1973; Ed Kloboves, 1976; Tim McNeil Sr., friend; Jim McQuaide, 1976; Daniel Mermer, 1968; Joseph Mollica, friend; Roger Orsinelli, 1977; Aimee (Conlan) Plastow, 1976; Rev. William Petrunak, friend; Anthony Rossi III, 1984; Albert Thigpen, 1988; Robert Thomas, friend; Joe Tresey, 1976; Andrew White, friend; and Dr. Thomas Wilson, friend.
