Q. When did you start playing your instrument?

A. Both Miranda and Maria began playing their instruments in fifth grade.

Q. Best memory of being in band/marching band?

A. Their best memories that they will miss when they graduate is attending Massillon Band Night. Maria loves doing the tuba pyramids in the middle of the field.

Q. What band trips did you attend, and which trip was your most memorable?

A. The band trips that Miranda and Maria have enjoyed taking are the trips to Cedar Point with the marching band and being able to march around the park.

Q. Why is music important to you?

A. Miranda: Music is an escape from what is going on in my life. If I am having a bad day, music is there to make me feel better.

Maria: It is a way to express yourself and have fun at the same time.

Q. What college do you hope to attend/intended major?

A. Maria plans to attend Youngstown State University in their Nursing program. Miranda also plans to attend Youngstown State University and is looking forward to joining its marching band.
