Junior varsity/freshman

Poland’s combined junior varsity and freshman team couldn’t overcome mistakes and turnovers and lost to Hubbard 28-8.

The Dogs had several scoring opportunities in the red zone but turned the ball over twice. The bulk of the offense came from freshman running backs Anthony Audi and Dylan Garver and sophomore receiver Marty Malenic, who had multiple catches. Poland’s only TD came from a 75-yard scoring run by Garver.

Defensively, Malenic and Dom Petrony had Interceptions and Petrony had a takeaway when he stripped a Hubbard running back in the fourth quarter.
