Man gets 5-year-prison for throwing bodily fluids at Mahoning deputies


YOUNGSTOWN —Ronald Chappell will spend the next five years in prison for throwing his bodily fluids at deputies in the Mahoning County jail.

Chappell was convicted of four counts of harassment with bodily fluids and one count of vandalism in his trial this week in common pleas court.

Judge James C. Evans handed down a one-year sentence on each of the five counts and ruled they would be served consecutively.
