Fashion show tickets available

NEWTON FALLS

A fashion show and buffet lunch will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 1 at Roby Lee’s Restaurant, 425 Ridge Road.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $9.99 for children under 12, and will be on sale from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Church Mouse, 261/2 W. Broad St., and at Roby Lee’s or by sending a check to Betty’s Angels, c/o Betty Strawderman, 4075 Fairlawn Heights Drive, Warren, OH 44484-2759.

Stan Boney of Channel 33 will be the guest host, and Mary Grace from the Attorney General’s office in Columbus will be the speaker.

There also will be a 50-50 drawing and basket and silent auctions that will include a 22-inch flat screen TV, $560 Mountaineer fun package, art work and more.

There will be prizes and free items.

The benefit is for Betty’s Angels, a safe place for kids who have been abused, parents are deceased or in jail, or have been sex trafficking victims.
