New Castle Playhouse to present ‘Postmortem’

The New Castle Playhouse, 212 E. Long Ave., will present the mystery thriller “Postmortem” beginning Friday and running for three weekends. The show is directed by Caryn Leslie.

In the Ken Ludwig-written play, a talented New York actor-playwright named William Gillette invites his cast for an entertaining weekend at his Connecticut River castle.

However, he soon discovers that there is a murder plot planned against him. He sorts through guns and knives as he tries to solve his own death by becoming an unofficial detective of his crime.

The show will run for nine performances. Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees begin at 2 p.m.
