Cherry Grove Beach was the setting for the 6 p.m. Sept. 9 nuptials of Michelle Gene Filicky of Youngstown and Brian Michael Williams of Austintown. The Rev. Lamar Boulware officiated.

James M. Filicky of Youngstown is the father of the bride. Her mother, JoAnn Filicky, is deceased.

The groom’s parents are Patrick Williams and Rosemary Williams, both of Austintown.

The bride wore a white summer destination halter wedding dress adorned with a beaded waist.

Serving as her honor attendants were Nicole Williams, the groom’s sister, and Michelle Moore. They wore black gowns.

Performing the duties of best man was Patrick Williams III, the groom’s nephew.

The bride attended Youngstown State University and is a customer-service project manager for FiNet Inc. of Boardman.

Her husband is studying social work at YSU and is a shift supervisor at Ohio Valley Teen Challenge of Youngstown.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Poland.
