Dr. Anderson named Woman of the Year

YOUNGSTOWN

Dr. Cynthia Anderson, president of Youngstown State University, has been named Woman of the Year by Youngstown Business and Professional Women’s Club.

Dr. Anderson will be honored at the club’s fundraising dinner at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Overture in DeYor Performing Arts Center, 260 W. Federal St.

The evening will include networking, dinner, a basket raffle, award presentation and keynote speaker Attorney Shirley Christian, president of the Mahoning County Bar Association.
