J-M looking ahead

Looking into districts, Jackson-Milton coach Taylor Sowers expects to make a decent showing.

“Both the boys and girls team have been looking very good,” Sowers said.

Sophomore Caleb Spalding and freshman Olivia Wolfe have personal bests of 18:30 (at Austintown) and 23:13 (at Lordstown), respectively.

“Both are hard-working athletes who have been proving themselves to be very good runners,” Sowers said. “I’m excited for all athletes on the Jackson Milton squad and can’t wait to see what pans out over these upcoming weeks.”
