SANIBEL ISLAND, FLA.

Casa Ybel Resort was the setting at sunset July 13 for a beach-side wedding ceremony for Courtney Shea Pilch of Columbiana and Vito Joseph Abruzzino of Fort Bragg, N.C. Paul Mielke officiated.

A postnuptial reception took place at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.

After a wedding trip to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple reside in Columbiana.

The parents of the bride are Louis and Robin Pilch of Salem. The parents of the groom are John and Phyllis Abruzzino of Niles.

The bride wore an ivory chiffon gown designed with a fitted bodice of asymmetrical ruching and an embroidered shoulder strap that extended beyond the dropped waist.

She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Mount Union and a master’s degree in school counseling from Walsh University. She is a counselor for Boardman Schools.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in history and a doctor of jurisprudence from West Virginia University. He is a captain with the U.S. Army and serves as a judge advocate general at Fort Bragg, N.C.
