Bridge replacement over state Route 11

LEETONIA

State Route 11 traffic will have detours and restrictions during nighttime hours for the installation of new beams as part of the state Route 344 bridge replacement project over the highway near Leetonia beginning Wednesday.

Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. overnight Wednesday, Route 11 traffic will be detoured via the on and off ramps at state Route 344.

On Thursday, there will be intermittent rolling road blocks on Route 11 between 6 p.m. and midnight.

Ohio Department of Transportation’s contractor for the $2.36 million project is A.P. O’Horo Co. of Youngstown. The completion date is August 2013.

The Ohio Department of Education will release state report-card data this afternoon on its website.

The information, including designation, performance index score and attendance rate, will be issued in a spreadsheet format. The data still will be preliminary until the state auditor’s office completes an attendance audit.
