The mall is located at 3295 E. State St. in Hermitage.

Grand opening for Champion Estates

Windsor House Inc., local owners and operators of 11 nursing homes and four assisted-living communities in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, will have a grand opening for Champion Estates on Oct. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Champion Estates Assisted Living is 56 apartments, each furnished with microwave and refrigerator.

Services are provided at Champion Estates include personal care, first-floor apartments, three meals, housekeeping, private laundry, assistance with activities of daily living, 24-hour emergency call system, social and recreational activities and nurses on staff seven days a week.

This assisted-living community will create 30 jobs.

Champion Estates Assisted Living is located at 1 Windsor Place in Champion.

Home Savings: Pick photo for debit card

Home Savings launched a personalized debit-card option for customers giving customers a choice of debit cards — either a standard Home Savings card or one with the customer’s favorite photo on it.

All customers have to do is go to www.homesavings.com/MyCard and upload their favorite picture.

The first 500 customers to order a card will receive the personalized card free of charge.

Hiram College, REGC begin partnership

Hiram College’s Center for Integrated Entrepreneurship and the Regional Economic Growth Corp. (REGC) of Portage County began a partnership Oct. 1 that will provide growth resources and development opportunities for small businesses.

The REGC is a designated Ohio Small Business Development Center.

It provides counseling services such as loan assistance and incubator space, to growing businesses and to people who want to start their business in Northeast Ohio.

Wayne Savings declares dividend

Wayne Savings Bancshares Inc., the stock holding company parent of Wayne Savings Community Bank, has declared a cash dividend of 7 cents per share of the company’s common stock for the quarter that ended Sept. 30.

The dividend will be paid Oct. 31 to stockholders of record Wednesday.
