Toast-and-roast for retired Judge Douglas Friday

YOUNGSTOWN

There will be a toast-and-roast celebration for Judge Robert A. Douglas Jr., who retired in the summer from Youngstown Municipal Court.

The event will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the Maronite Center, 1555 S. Meridian Road, with a social hour to begin at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by contacting Norma Marzano at 330-270-9754 or Marcia Haire-Ellis at 330-270-0420. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Special guest for the occasion will be Barry L. Wells, former Ambassador to Gambia, West Africa, and a retired U.S. State Department executive.
